Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you create an account, purchase a subscription or use the SitePinPoint website monitoring platform.

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of SitePinPoint, including our website monitoring, scanning, reporting and subscription services. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using SitePinPoint, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

About SitePinPoint

SitePinPoint is a website monitoring platform designed to help businesses identify potential website health, technical SEO, performance, security, local SEO and trust-related issues. You can contact us at support@sitepinpoint.com.

Eligibility and Authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use SitePinPoint. If you create an account on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

Your Account

You must provide accurate and current information when creating your account and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. You must notify us promptly at support@sitepinpoint.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe an account has been compromised, misused or used in breach of these Terms.

Website Scans and Authorisation

You may only submit a website for scanning where you own the website or have permission from the website owner to monitor and analyse it. You must not use SitePinPoint to scan, probe, disrupt or interfere with websites, systems or networks without authorisation. Scan frequency, page limits, report features and data availability may depend on your subscription plan.

Service Information and Limitations

SitePinPoint provides automated monitoring, analysis and recommendations. Reports are provided for general information and should not be treated as professional legal, security, financial or regulatory advice. We aim to provide useful and accurate results, but automated scans may contain errors, omissions, false positives or incomplete findings. SitePinPoint does not guarantee that every website issue, vulnerability, performance problem or search engine issue will be identified. You remain responsible for reviewing recommendations, maintaining your website, creating backups and deciding whether and how to implement any changes.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe using the price and billing frequency shown at checkout. By starting a paid subscription, you authorise Stripe to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis until the subscription is cancelled. Prices may be changed in the future. Where a change affects an existing subscription, we will provide reasonable notice before the new price takes effect.

Renewals and Cancellation

Your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless it is cancelled before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the customer billing portal or by contacting support@sitepinpoint.com. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and you may continue using the paid service until that date.

Refunds and Consumer Rights

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law or where we expressly agree otherwise. If you are using SitePinPoint as a consumer rather than for business purposes, you may have statutory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. Additional information may be provided in our Refund Policy.

Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Where we offer a free trial, discount or promotional period, the specific terms shown when you sign up will apply. Unless you cancel before the end of a trial that automatically converts to a paid subscription, your selected payment method may be charged at the stated subscription price. We may limit, change or withdraw promotional offers where reasonably necessary, but this will not affect a paid period that has already started.

Acceptable Use

You must not use SitePinPoint to break the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, overload the service, bypass usage limits, copy or reverse engineer the platform, resell access without permission or interfere with other users. You must not upload or submit content, domains or information that you do not have the right to use. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the platform, our suppliers and other users.

Intellectual Property

SitePinPoint, its software, branding, design, content, reports, processes and platform features are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use SitePinPoint for your internal business purposes while your account remains active. You retain ownership of the website information and content you submit. You grant us permission to process that information only as necessary to provide, secure and improve the service.

Third-Party Services

SitePinPoint relies on third-party providers, which may include Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, HubSpot and other hosting, analytics, communication or infrastructure services. Your use of certain third-party features may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

Availability and Changes to the Service

We aim to keep SitePinPoint available and operating reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, security incidents, internet failures, supplier outages or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may update, replace, add or remove features where reasonably necessary to improve, secure or operate the platform. We will try to provide reasonable notice where a material change significantly reduces the core paid service.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using SitePinPoint at any time and may cancel your subscription in accordance with these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, misuse the platform, create a security or legal risk, or use the service in a way that may harm SitePinPoint, our suppliers or other users. Where appropriate, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to correct a breach before termination. We may act immediately where urgent action is reasonably required for security, legal or operational reasons.

Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of SitePinPoint, including any information you submit to the platform, complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SitePinPoint will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill, data or opportunities arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Where you use SitePinPoint for business purposes, our total liability arising in connection with the service will not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to SitePinPoint during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. You are responsible for maintaining suitable website backups, security controls and independent professional advice where required.

Indemnity

Where you use SitePinPoint for business purposes, you agree to reimburse us for reasonable losses, liabilities and costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the service, your unauthorised scanning of a third-party website or your material breach of these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, our business, applicable law or regulatory requirements. We will publish the updated Terms on this page and update the date shown above. Where changes materially affect your rights or an active paid subscription, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you use SitePinPoint for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.

General

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations where this does not reduce your legal protections. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and any plan-specific terms shown at checkout, form the agreement between you and SitePinPoint.
